Rehab Assistant/Canine Hydrotherapist

With Bachelor’s degrees in Neuroscience and Psychology, I like to joke that I’m officially “two degrees hotter” and have spent plenty of time learning what makes brains and behaviour tick. My love for animals and veterinary medicine has been a lifelong adventure, leading me to spend nearly a decade in veterinary practice caring for pets and the wonderful humans who adore them.

As part of the team at Chinook Canine Rehabilitation Centre, I’m thrilled to help dogs get back to doing what they do best running, playing, exploring, and occasionally pretending they can’t hear their owners. Through hydrotherapy and underwater treadmill therapy, I help dogs build strength, improve mobility, and feel their best. Whether your pup is recovering from surgery, gaining muscle, managing a chronic condition, or just looking for a fun and safe way to stay active, I’m committed to making every session positive, rewarding, and tailored to their unique needs.

My passion for canine health and rehabilitation doesn’t stop when I leave the clinic. At home, I’m kept on my toes by my two energetic Australian Shepherds, Bosley and Azu, who have introduced me to the exciting worlds of agility, nose work, and countless outdoor adventures. They’re a daily reminder of how important it is for dogs to move comfortably, confidently, and enjoy every moment.

When I’m not working with dogs, you’ll probably find me hiking, snowboarding, dirt biking, or exploring the outdoors with my four-legged adventure buddies. I’m also currently pursuing certification in canine massage therapy, which means my dogs are very excited about being a live-in practice subject.

I feel incredibly lucky to combine my love of animals, veterinary medicine, and rehabilitation every day. I look forward to meeting you and your dog, and being part of their journey toward better movement, more tail wags, and a happier, healthier life.
